CONSENT TO COLLECT, USE, AND SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION
TO: ALLIANCE MOTOR CARS LTD (“Dealer”) and ULOAN SOLUTIONS INCORPORATED (“Referrer”)
AND TO: Each financial institution (each an “FI”) to which the Dealer submits an on-line credit application through the RouteOne Canada Corp (“RouteOne”) system (the “RouteOne System”), on my behalf, for loan, lease, or other financing for a motor vehicle, recreational vehicle, motorhome, motorcycle, power sports equipment, water, or leisure crafts or other assets.
In this consent, “I,” “me,” and “my” mean the Applicant, and if applicable, each Co-Applicant, jointly and severally. “You” and “your” mean each of the Dealer, Referrer, RouteOne, each FI and each of their respective affiliates, successors, and assigns, including their respective service providers. “Credit Transaction” means any credit application, quote, purchase, lease, financing application, and/or service requested by or for me and which involves the RouteOne System. “Personal Information” (“PI”) means information about me and includes, but is not limited to: my name, home address, telephone number, date of birth, occupation or profession, social insurance number, driver’s license number, income, financial information, employment history, insurance information (including insurance coverage and claims history), credit and loan payment history (including information obtained from a credit reporting agency or other lenders, or other person or entity), and all information provided by me in any credit application and any decision made by any FI which receives my credit application.
By clicking the ‘Submit’ button on the Vehicle Financing web form, I authorize you and the FI that purchases my retail installment sales contract or lease agreement, or both, from time to time, to collect, use and share my PI with me, credit reporting agencies, the Dealer, the Referrer, RouteOne, other lenders including other FIs, insurers, and each of their respective affiliates, agents, suppliers, and members of their respective corporate groups for the purposes of initiating, processing, and facilitating any Credit Transaction requested by or for me, and for all reasonable related purposes including, but not limited to: (i) validating my identity; (ii) reviewing, verifying, and assessing my creditworthiness; (iii) for purposes required or permitted by applicable Canadian or foreign law (iv) for legal, regulatory, audit and security purposes; (v) for purposes of creating aggregated or anonymous information which may be used by you.
By clicking the ‘Submit’ button on the Vehicle Financing web form, I acknowledge receipt of notice, and provide my consent, that a report about me will be obtained from TransUnion (55 Bond Street, Suite 202, St John’s, NF A1C 5W2) or Equifax (5650 Yonge St., Toronto, Ontario M2M 4G3). If I have provided my social insurance number, it may be shared with credit reporting agencies as an aid to identify me. PI shared with credit reporting agencies may be shared with others by credit reporting agencies for credit reporting purposes.
By clicking the ‘Submit’ button on the Vehicle Financing web form, I certify that all information provided by me in any related credit application or other document completed in connection with a Credit Transaction is true, accurate, and complete.
By clicking the ‘Submit’ button on the Vehicle Financing web form, I acknowledge that RouteOne’s affiliates and/or service providers may be located outside of Canada and as such they are bound by, and PI may be disclosed in accordance with, the laws of the jurisdiction in which they are located.
By clicking the ‘Submit’ button on the Vehicle Financing web form, I understand and agree that PI collected, used and shared by each of the Dealer, RouteOne and each FI is subject to their respective privacy notices; and I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to review these privacy notices before proceeding with any Credit Transaction.
Disclosure of Personal and Financial Information
By submitting the uLoan Canada Vehicle Finance web form, I consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my personal information as described in this paragraph. I agree that the personal information provided above may be used and disclosed by Giving You Credit Financial Services/Legacy Auto Group/uLoan Solutions Incorporated and/or its agents or service providers (collectively, the “Dealer”) as necessary to obtain credit, financial and related personal information (including a credit or consumer information report) about me from any credit bureau or credit reporting agency, and to advise me on credit availability in connection with product and/or service purchase financing. I further agree that the personal information provided above may be disclosed to the provider of Dealer’s website hosting or related services for the purpose of enabling Dealer to access my personal information for marketing purposes. Personal information I provide and credit information obtained may also be retained by Dealer and used to facilitate the application process should I subsequently choose to apply for credit through Dealer.
